Noreen Amir is passionate about all things appetizing; her obsession for cooking was glowed at a very initial age when she was very young. She was born in a family where cooking was a lifestyle therefore she was brought in to the culinary industry at an early age. Her nightmare came true when she won the famous cooking competition titled as “Kon Banaegi Cooking Queen” presented by Indus Vision in 2009. Her next ostentatious reward was a show in Masala TV’s Lively Weekends. From that point Noreen got an opportunity to display her enthusiasm and ability for cooking at Masala TV’s platform.

When she succeeded in that show she was offered in a new Masala TV cooking show, titled as “Sarsabz Dastarkwan” where she brought a number of delicious vegetable dishes, an attempt which further made known her imagination and expertise in cooking. She has got a “hotel management diploma” from Pithum where she got 2nd position. She has also done short courses in Thai and Malaysian cuisine as well as traditional and innovative Pakistani sweet dishes. She also took specialized culinary training from Marriott Hotel.

Currently she is appearing in “Barkat-e-Sehar” live at Masala TV – an instant cooking show right at sehri time for viewers. She makes quick and easy recipes that can be made easily without any problem and yet have a delicious flavor and important nutrients for whole day.

balo shahi's texture resembles to sand. As you will see it's surface contains shiny particles like sand. And balo means 'mitti' and shahi means 'royal', which makes it royal sand. It is a mughlai dish which was introduced in the kitchens of moghul emperors.
