Almond Sweet (Badam Halwa) is really healthy traditional cooking recipe. It is very easy to prepare and gives you unique taste of Indian Recipes

6 oz. Sugar
5 tablespoons Water
pinch Saffron
4 oz. ground Almonds
4 oz. unSalted Butter
6 ground Cardamom seeds
Dissolve the sugar in the water over low heat then bring to the boil. Boil to 220°F. or soft ball. Lower heat and add saffron and almonds. Gradually add the butter. stirring continuously. When the mixture thickens pour into a shallow, greased dish and sprinkle the top with the crushed cardamom. Allow to cool and cut into squares or diamond shapes.
